Help Ariel!!

Ariel came to us a few weeks ago from Kentucky. She was on
her last day to live when pulled and is an absolute joy to
have in rescue!! She was adopted out quickly however the
new forever homes circumstances change shortly after
adoption and Ariel has now been returned to us.

When Ariel arrived, she was literally crawling with ticks,
some of them larger than the size of an eraser on a pencil.
The foster mom and dad spent the evening pulling each and
everyone of them off of her and she sat patiently for this
to be done.

She was treated with Revolution twice since, and this week,
the day after she was returned, we had her in for a Lyme
test (the new adopters were to bring her in as we had this
all scheduled prior to adoption). Thankfully it was
negative but our vet found a rather large lump on her belly
and called me to suggest they do a biopsy as he's concerned
it's a mammory tumour. The quote is between $450-$750 and
he feels it should be done quickly.

In addition, LOYAL Rescue currently has 29 puppy mill dogs
to vet as well, and many of them need dental unfortunately.
One in particular was at the specialists this past Monday
and the quote is between $1750-$2200 for his dental. He
will still need to be neutered over and above that.

I know everyone is strapped right now. Pay checks keep
going down but it seems all expenses (including vetting)
just keeps going up!

I've started a ChipIn for Ariel to see if we can raise even
a few dollars towards her care. Anything donated would be
gratefully appreciated. This special girl deserves
everything we can give her, and then some. SHe's had it
rough so far but we made her a promise that her previous
life was over and that she would not ever lack for anything
again. We now need your help please, to keep Ariel healthy.

Thanks in advance for anything you can do and please, feel
free to cross-post to any and all.

Even $5, $10 donations , they go A LONG way!!!!
